Unhealthy diets, sedentary lifestyles and aging populations have led to a spike in chronic diseases, and the healthcare industry is struggling to keep up. Philips wants to address these challenges and work towards its goal of improving the lives of 3 billion people a year globally by 2025. They decided to host the Philips Innovation Experience (PIE) to showcase its breadth of solutions and meaningful innovations in health systems and personal health, and to explain how individual solutions are part of its Health Technology strategy.
The PIE travelled across key cities in ASEAN Pacific, making stops in Australia, Singapore and Indonesia. At each stop, Philips invited media, customers, partners, healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and showcased to them how innovations can lead to healthier living, better care and improved medical outcomes. In total, more than 100 journalists and bloggers from 70 publications attended, generating over 150 media placements.
The activation successfully increased brand preference for Philips among customers, and received strong positive feedback from partners and employees
